Blue Cross Blue Shield of NM (BCBCNM) Contract Termination on December 31, 2010

BCBSNM is moving all New Mexico behavioral Health administration to corporate offices in Richardson, Texas and will be terming the contract between BCBSNM and Mesa Mental Health effective 12/31/10. See Q2 2010 Provider Newsletter for more information.

New Rate Schedule January 2010

Mesa Mental Health has issued a 2010 rate schedule, restructuring the schedule to be based on Medicare RVU values. See the Q4 2009 Network Services Newsletter for additional information

CPT Code 90808
January 2010

Mesa Mental Health will no longer require that providers get prior authorization of service for this code. Please know that we will retrospectively track use of this code for overuse: six claims on the same client will warrant a clinical inquiry.

Blue Medicare Advantage PPO Terminates
December 2009

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of NM will not be renewing the Blue Medicare Advantage PPO contract with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
